Chrysler has been working on fuel cell technology for several years with fuel cell powered police and fire vehicles already in production. In addition to current fuel cell vehicles, Chrysler has also been working on fuel cell concept cars for the future – one of these is the Chrysler ecoVoyager.

The Chrysler ecoVoyager has been making the rounds at recent car shows around the world and the vehicle has created quite a buzz. The vehicle is a four-door sedan with a distinct aerodynamic design. The concept car currently has approximately a 40-mile all-electric range but the range can be extended with a hydrogen fuel cell add on to more than 300 miles.

Other 2008 Chrysler concept vehicles with a green motoring component include the Jeep Renegade Concept and the Dodge Zeo Concept. The Renegade is an electric vehicle with a BlueTEC diesel range extender and the Zeo is a sporty electric vehicle with a 250-mile all-electric range.
