Nissan EV Prototype at Eco-Products 2008

Nissan has committed to providing the world with electric vehicles by 2010 as part of its Nissan’s Green Program 2010 (NGP 2010).
The program is “designed to fulfill Nissan’s environmental philosophy of “symbiosis of people, vehicles and nature†and contribute to a sustainable mobile society. NGP 2010 is specifically focused on reducing CO2 emissions both from Nissan products as well as from day-to-day corporate activities.†(Source: Nissan/Infiniti News Room)
The Nissan EV-02 prototype will be making an appearance at the Tokyo-based Eco Products 2008, which began today. This event will mark the first time that the EV prototype has been viewable by the public.
This year marks the 10th year of the Eco-Products 2008 Exhibition. According to the event website, “Its aim is to accelerate the expansion of green markets by exhibiting environmentally friendly products and services. The three-day event, one of the largest of its kind, is expected to draw on more than 750 companies / organizations and more than 170,000 visitors.”
