Driving Range Won’t be an Issue at Electricross Event

Electiwhat?

Electricross is an ingenious name used to describe a 24-hour racing event scheduled for April 4-5. This traditional endurance style motocross-racing event has a twist – all of the off-road vehicles participating must be all electric. The group of racers is hoping to set a Guinness World Record during the event.

“This event is pulling together an incredibly diverse group of people from around the world. Everyone from lifelong motorcyclists to environmentally-conscience trend setters are fielding teams. Some are traveling thousands of miles at their own expense for this opportunity to make motorcycle history,” said Neal Saiki, inventor and founder, Zero Motorcycles. (Source: PR Newswire)

Event sponsors include Hi-Ball Energy Drink (you can’t have an event like this without an energy drink sponsor), Fox Racing, Aplinestars, We All Ride Motorcycle Shop, Scotts Valley RV, Custom Culinary Concepts and Watchwear.com.

The event will be held at the 408MX Motocross Track in San Jose, California. Eligible vehicles include all-electric motorcycles, quads and ATVs. More information about the event can be obtained by calling Lisa Saiki at (831) 345-6532.
